Using the MyPlate guide, create a healthy meal. Explain what are the food groups.
Using the MyPlate guide, I created a healthy meal. I picked from the five food group: grains, vegetable, dairy, fruits, protein. I selected spaghetti/meat sauce which covers the protein and grains. My grains will give me carbohydrates for energy. The meat sauce is the protein, which will build and repair my cells. I also selected steamed broccoli which covers the vegetable. My fruit is mixed fruit and milk is my dairy. The milk will hwlpmmy bomes be stronger becuase of the calcium MyPlate.gov describes the 5 food groups that are necessary for a healthy meal. The Health book identify the food items that I selected.
