A

Areas of natural constraint are for farmers facing issues with remotness, difficult topography, climate or poor soil conditions.

The minimum stocking requirement will be based on an applicant’s stocking profile. Where an applicant did not satisfy the minimum stocking requirements in 2022, they can choose to use their stocking profile in 2023 instead.

In 2022 the minimum stocking density was 0.15 livestock units per eligible forage hectare for 7 consecutive months within the 2022 calendar year.
