What are characteristics of student centred learning?

A

Technology is an information tool to create, access, retrieve, manipulate and transmit information. On an “as need basis” or “just in time learning”. Use it anytime, anywhere and anyhow (A3). Student is now the creator and disseminator of the information, not the teachers.

What is the impact of computers?

A

Technology surrounds us and permeates everything we do on a daily basis. Tech should save us time and help us accomplish things we might not otherwise be able to do. One thing we can’t forget is that all of this technology is just a tool that enhance human capability.

    The learner of tomorrow not longer uses tools, they use appliances. Tech is becoming wearable (ex. google glasses)
