Characters are the individuals in a narrative, defined by traits, actions, and development.
Example: A flawed hero who grows over time.

Emotion
Emotion conveys feelings through narrative.
Example: A tearful goodbye scene.
How feelings are expressed or evoked
Empathy
Empathy makes the audience feel what characters feel.
Example: Showing a character’s struggle to connect with viewers.

Dialogue is what characters say and imply.
Example: “I’m fine” said with a trembling voice implies the opposite.

Subtext is meaning beneath the surface.
Example: A character’s silence implying deep trauma.

Voice
Voice is the distinct personality or style of the writer.
Example: A witty, conversational narrator.
The unique personality of the narrator or character
Tone
Tone is the writer’s attitude toward the subject or audience.
Example: Sarcastic, hopeful, melancholic.
