Hook
A hook is a compelling opening that captures the reader’s interest.
Example: A mysterious letter arriving in the first scene.

Pacing is the speed at which the story unfolds.
Example: Short sentences to build tension.

Embedding integrates one narrative or medium within another.
Example: A story within a story.
