Nutrition
Living organisms have the ability to move.
Movement
to obtain energy from food. Respiration can be aerobic (using oxygen) or anaerobic (not using oxygen), and it involves the breakdown of organic molecules to release energy.
Respiration
also known as responsiveness or irritability, refers to an organism’s ability to detect and respond to changes in its environment.
Sensitivity
Living organisms have the capacity to grow and increase in size or complexity.
Growth and Development
is the ability of living organisms to produce offspring of their own kind.
Reproduction
involves the removal of waste products and harmful substances produced during metabolic processes. It helps maintain a stable internal environment.
Excretion
is the process of obtaining and utilizing nutrients and energy sources to sustain life.
