What is a climax in choreography?
The most significant moment of a dance.
What are highlights in choreography?
Important moments of a dance.
What is motif development?
A movement or phrase that shows an idea or theme and is repeated and developed throughout the dance.
What is a canon in choreography?
Dancers perform the same movements as each other but they overlap in time.
What is repetition in choreography?
The same action or phrase is performed again during the dance piece.
What is contrast in choreography?
Parts of the dance are very different to each other (have nothing in common). This may be to do with the shapes/movements/music etc.
What is unison in choreography?
Two or more dancers perform the same thing at the same time.
What is manipulation of number in choreography?
How the number of dancers in a group is used.
