Cider - How is Cider Made?

A
  • Although cider is a category unto its own, production is similar to wine. Apples are crushed and pressed into juice which is then fermented into cider.
  • Cider generally has an alcohol content between 5~8%
  • Cider cna be fermented in large wooden vats or stainless steel tanks
