How many regions make up the civil rights? and what are they?
East, Central, and West which is 3 regions.
what is whistleblower protections for a member?
it protects a member from retaliation based on kept secrets in the interest of the national defense or conduct of foreign affairs.
who can you file a complaint with ?
US office of special council
How would you resolve a problem when a member comes to your office about EO?
Here the member out and lowest possible way first
How would you handle a member that comes to your office about another member harrasing him?
first i would make sure the victim is safe, then i would hear the member out, then i would contact a CRSP, notify CGIS to begin an investigation if something falls under ucmj, then report the outcome to CRSP no later then 30 days
what is tangible employment sexual harassment?
is when a supervisor is requesting sexual favors
what is hostile environment sexual harassment?
is when your requesting verbal favors or touching
how long does a new member have to receive sexual harassment training prior to joining cg?
90 days, and annually after.
as an OIC what survey can your crew take in order to receive feedback?

who makes the DEOCS?

how many complaint processes are there?

whats Pre complaint process?
lowest level possible, try to resolve the problem within the command
what an alternative dispute process?
its the resolution and coordination of terms and conclusions of dispute without settlement.
what is the formal complaint process?
its when a member files for discrimination, investigation for a complaint, adjudication and post-investigative process
how many days does the command have to resolve the discrimination problem?
15 days
how many days does the CRSP have to resolve the issue?
EO councelor has 30 days to inquire and resolve.
upon filing the CG has how many days to close out the case?
180 days to complete a formal investigation
final action shall be with how many days?
60 days
if you can’t reach your CRSP who else can you contact?
zone, regional or headquarters office of civil rights
what is a social climate incident and what must you do as the OIC?
its when members are getting mistreated for their work, and a investigation has to be done by cgis for a week to make the determination.
how long does the command have to make their decision on social climate?
2 weeks
