How do you check for rudder bias?
- Increase left throttle to approximately 70% N1.
- Verify left rudder pedal moves forward.
- Return left throttle to idle.
- Increase right throttle to approximately 70% N1.
- Verify right rudder moves forward.
- Return right throttle to idle.
Elevator trim check
- Push both sides of pilot’s trim switch UP and DOWN - verify correct trim wheel and pointer movement; press AP/TRIM DISC Button - verify trim stops moving.
- Repeat for copilot side if occupied.
- Reset trim within takeoff trim band.
Autopilot check
- Autopilot engage.
- Verify green AP on PFD
- Verify flight controls are engaged by autopilot.
- CWS Button - PUSH AND HOLD
a. Verify autopilot disengages from flight controls. - CWS Button - RELEASE
- AP/TRIM DISC Button - PUSH
- Verify autopilot is disengaged from flight controls
- Verify autopilot disconnect visual and audio.
Flap check
- Flap - 55°
- White FLAP > 35 and SPEED BRAKES EXTEND Message - Displayed
- Flaps set for Takeoff.
- White FLAPS > 35 and SPEED BRAKES EXTEND Message - Cleared

1. 3 Green and 1 Red landing gear indicator lights - Illuminated
2. “Landing Gear” audio warning - Sounds
3. HORN SILENCE button - PUSH
Angle of attack test
Angle Of Attack button - Select/Verify/Done
1. Stick shaker - ACTIVATES
2. AOA indexer (if installed) - OPERATING
Windshield test
Windshield Temp button - Select/Verify/Done
1. WINDSHIELD ANTI-ICE BLEED switch - HI or LOW
2. Amber W/S AIR O’TEMP message - displayed
