Q

What are the benefits of cloud computing?

A

It’s cost effective, meaning you pay for what you consume, no up-front cost.

It’s global, meaning you can launch workloads anywhere in the world.

It’s secure, cloud providers take care of the physical security. Cloud services can be secure by default, or you can configure access down to granular level.

It’s reliable, with data backup, disaster recovery, data replication, and fault tolreance.

It’s scalable, increase or decrease resources and services based on demand.

Elastic, meaning you can automate scaling during spikes and drops in demand.

Current, meaning the underlying hardware and managed software is patched, upgraded and replaced by the cloud provider without any interruption to you.
