A
- There are free electrons everywhere in a circuit including light bulb
- When switch is closed, the free electrons in lightbulb experiences electric force almost immediately and move
- The movement of free electrons in the bulb lights up the bulb

It converts EPE from current to heat (resistance) - causing difference in EPE - resulting in difference in potential
