Can I get the next 32 seconds to tell you a really common problem I hear from LOs I speak with that is actually costing them more than $200 and then you can hang up on me? “

That’s great, I actually would have been surprised if you didn’t. Sounds like it’s already working for you. Homebot isn’t meant to replace anything that’s already working. Can I ask you 1 quick question to give you an idea of whether it even makes sense to look at us or if you should never look at someone like us ever again?

I’m curious, since what you’re using today is working, how are you measuring that?

Sure, I’d be happy to send over some information, there’s a lot I could send over but just to make sure what I send is as relevant as possible, what are 1-2 things that would be the most helpful?

Great, I’ll get that sent over. Before I let you go can I ask one last question?

I do this a lot and I’m still waiting to hear back from the people I sent information to because they were too nice and just wanted me off the phone. Would sending over information actually be helpful? And you can be honest I promise I won’t take it personally.

LO: “Yes it would.”

Okay, since that information would actually be helpful, in my experience to make the most out of your time it usually makes more sense to get time on the calendar that way we can go over x and y together and get any questions that come up answered right then and there to see if Homebot can actually help you or not and if it can’t, worst case at least you have some ideas you can steal and know to never look into us again. Are you opposed to that?

Me: I appreciate and respect the honesty, we need more people like you. (Name) if I told you that I know it’ll get your clients engaged 7-10x more than what you’re currently using today and actually start conversations that lead to transactions even in today’s market, then would it be worth looking into?

LO: “Maybe.”

Me: Okay, well we don’t even know if Homebot can even help you or not but odds are it can since you said the only thing that’s engaging your clients is content from a CRM so best case we increase your business, worst case you now know you can cross Homebot off your list of tools to look into. Fair enough?

Totally get that. How about we do this, I’ll send over a sample Homebot report for you to play around with and throw a dart on your calendar but it’s going to be further out of the way for next week. If you like what you see would you mind just accepting it so I can give you a proper rundown and if you find it totally uninteresting you can just decline the invite?

Totally get that, I’m curious is it because you’re completely satisfied with what you’re using right now to stay top of mind or are you not looking to add on any expenses?

“I totally get that. With the state of the market, almost everyone’s budgets are frozen and are heads down waiting for this tough market to pass so that’s on me. My guess is you’re probably not going to buy something in the next 6 months and I’m not going to expect that of you but sometimes, people know their budget is going to open up in 6 months and they want to get the demo and dog and pony show out of the way so they can get a sense of what’s out there today so that later on in 6 months, they can just make their decision.

That said, would it totally crazy to get 20-30 minutes on the calendar later this week or next just so you can see if Homebot is something that would help you and your business whenever budget does open up and if we find out Homebot can’t help then we can part ways but at least you know you don’t need to look into us ever again?
