The US "fought" Russia by in Korea fighting with the UN to stop the invasion of South Korea, the also sent money, and military advisers to Vietnam in fear of the Domino theory, the US sent troops to Central America to help them not have communism

What was Communist rule of China like under Mao? What has it been like in recent years?
Under Mao there was a great famine because of the Great Leap Forward-20-30 million dead from famine when farms took place and the steel industry was wrecked, the Cultural Revolution is when kids were forced to turn in parents. After mao's death some freedom occured by now there is a Totalitarian government, there is a unbalanced population with more males then females, there is continued persecution of all religions

The Domino theory was the theory if one country fell to communism the rest would. The US feared if one country fell the rest would. The theory was accurate because it happened
