-In 1938 the German sudeten party demand a union with Hitler
-15th of September Hitler agrees to only take over the parts of the sudeten land where Germans live
- 22nd September Hitler goes against agreement and demands the entire Sudetenland
- the Munich agreement allowed Hitler to do thus

- in 1935 a plebiscite was held to decide whether the Saar would be given back to Germany
-Goebbels held huge propaganda campaigns to encourage people to vote
