The British empire suffered finance lose due to the war with America they needed some source of income and new places for their prisoners

It is the conflict between the colonist and the first nations people. In a sires or on going wars.

Most convicts where sentence to crimes such as stilling food and good due to being in poverty.

How did the work the convict do affect the first nations people?
By cutting trees clearing traditional hunting grounds building dams making it hard for them to feed their families and by building fence making it hard to travel.
