Rule 2: Two independent clauses joined by a conjunction
A
When two independent clauses in sentence joined by FOR AND NOR BUT OR YET SO, add a comma before the junction. Ex. the dog ran, and the cat climbed.

Rule 3: First dependent, then independent.
A
Yes: When I return from my camping trip, i will wash the car.
No: I will wash the car, when i return from my camping trip.
