Q

Q. How do you successfully communicate to your client, when delivering a cost plan?

A

I always tend to issue a first draft of my cost plans to clients, ensuring they are able to understand it clearly and raise anything they do not

This then ensures I can incorporate the required changes to make it clearer to them

Q

Q. Can you tell me a time communication has broken down in a project and how you mitigated this?

A

I think my case study is a good example of this. Although perhaps not significantly mentioned in my submission

My client was not happy that this overspend was not reported to then earlier on by the contractor, leaving them disappointed.

By engaging in the collaborative meetings, it highlighted the importance that each party has in the project and by communicating effectively, the risk proposals for each party could be significantly reduced.
