Why is change considered a ‘complex’ process?
Change and progression is multilinear and complex, essentially meaning that societies and cultures can evolve in different paths or manners.
Change is affected by many variables and forces, pressuring societies and cultures to adapt.
Change occurring from a certain level can have a butterfly effect and affect those on higher or lower levels.
Competing theories provide conflicting ideas that change can either be slow or abrupt
