1
Q

Attributable fraction

A

Q

How can you calculate the absolute risk?

A

Numbers of events in a group divided by the number of people in the group in a specified period of time.

Absolute risk reduction - difference in absolute risk between groups ie exposed vs unexposed.

Relative risk

A

Q

Relative versus absolut risk

A

The relative risk si a good measure for the strength of the association between the exposure and the outcome. The impact this will have in the population is dependent of the incidence of the disease and the prevalence of the exposure.
