Circumstances under which a vessel may use inshore traffic separation zone.

Answer 1

A vessel less than 20m in length, a sailing vessel, and a vessel engaged in fishing may use the inshore traffic zone.

A vessel may use an inshore traffic zone when enroute to or from a port, an offshore installation or structure, a pilot station or any other place situated within the inshore traffic zone or to avoid an immediate danger.
