Q

What is subliminal stimulation

A

Exposed to a stimulus, but the exposure is so fast that while the information does get in the brain, it never reaches consciousness. Cannot see it consciously but can still influence and affect our behaviors.

Q

what is dichotic listening

Used in experiments to study selective attention. Different messages in each ear, asked to focus on one ear only and repeat to prevent us to focus on other ear. Despite this, we still pick up stuff from other other.
