15
Q

What is the energy transfers in a tennis ball which is throw into the air and bounces until it stops?

A

As the ball is thrown in the air kinetic energy occurs . As it reaches the maximum height and slows down gravitation potential energy occurs. The ball speeds up when making its way back down through kinetic energy and as it makes contact with the floor elastic potential energy occurs the same transfers continue to happen due to the rise and fall of the ball.
