The Building process involves
-the handling of materials and equipment
-the positioning of the said materials and equipment to produce the desired completed whole.
Participants in the process
-The design team (Architects, Engineers).
-The construction team (Mechanical, Electrical)
-Support services
The Design Team
-The employer [Pays the cost of the work and organise the construction project. ]
-The architect [Often Design and supervise the erection of the building]
-The quantity surveyor [Deals with construction cost and communication on behalf of the employer.]
-The consulting engineers [Provide their own special expertise ].
=Structural Engineers (They look designs from a practically of construction point of view through design of the structure. ) =Civil Engineers (Are responsible for design and supervision of civil and public works engineering. ) =Building Services Engineers ( Are responsible for the designing the environmental conditions that are required in today's modern buildings. ) =Electrical Engineers ( Design and supervise all Electrical installations.)

-Clerk of works ( Employed on
behalf of the contractor.)
-Building Control Officer ( Employed on behalf of the local authority to ensure that the building plans and proposals comply with building regulations.)
-Interior Designers ( Develops the internal shell of the buildings to provide good aesthetic and working conditions.)

Tradesmen
-Masons (are people who work with stone, burnt clay bricks, concrete blocks)
-Carpenters (Work with timber)
-Plasterers (They work with plaster, form a layer of platers on interior wall)
-Plumbers (Installs or repairs piping systems)
-Electricians (They install and repair electrical infrastructure)
-Glaziers (Glazier is a construction professional who selects, cuts, installs, replaces, and removes residential)
-Groundworkers (they clear the site, lay foundations, install drainage and other pipework, and may build roads.)
-Painters (applying paint, pigment, colour or other medium to a surface)
-Roof tillers (cover roof structures with roof tiles, slates or shingles to form waterproof
surfaces.)
-Scaffolders (are professionals who put up and take down scaffolding and working platforms on construction sites and other projects)
-Steel fixers (Fixers determine size, shape, quantity and location of concrete reinforcing metal)
