Prednisone
Generic: Deltasone, Intensol, Rayos
Indication: anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant agent
Instructions: Take as directed with food to minimize upset stomache. or between meals to prevent gastric ulcers
SE: HTN, Weight gain, disturbance in mood,
Warnings, Precautions: If long term therapy, should taper dose, anaphylaxis,
Interactions: Do not take along with NSAIDS
missed dose: use miss dose as soon as your remember. skip if close to time of next dose
Storage: store at room temp
Furosemide
Generic: Lasix
Indication: Diuretic for HTN/edema
Instructions: Take on empty stomach for best efficacy. First thing in the morning since you will urinate.
SE: Orthostatic hypotension, dizziness, electrolyte imbalance (hyponatremia, hypokalemia, hypochloremia) photosensitivity
Warnings, Precautions: Sulfa allergy, Tinnitus, hypersensitivity,
Interactions: animoglycoside antibiotics
missed dose: use miss dose as soon as your remember. skip if close to time of next dose. Dont double dose

Metoprolol succinate
Generic: Toprol XL
Indication: HTN, MI, HF
Instructions: Administer once daily without regard to meals
SE: orthopedic hypotension, dizziness
Warnings, Precautions: Taper dose after long term use. Hypersensitivity, passing out, abnormal heart rhythms or chest pain
Interactions: Do not use with other beta blockers. caution with other antihypertensive medications
missed dose: use miss dose as soon as your remember. skip if close to time of next dose. Dont double dose

Oxycodone/APAP
Brand: Percocet
Indication: Pain
Instructions: Take by mouth, with or without food.
SE: Sedation, confusion, dizziness, constipation
Warnings, Precautions: Addiction potential, respiratory depression, Hepatotoxicity.
Interactions:Do not combine with alcohol or other CNS depressants
missed dose: Probably as needed. use miss dose as soon as your remember.
