what is recruitment?
the process of finding people to work for an organisation
what is internal recruitment?
when an employer looks for applicants for a job inside the organisation

explains the work to be done and typically sets out the job title, location of work and main tasks

what is a reference?
someone who gives a recommendations for a position on behalf of another person
what is a full time and part time contract?
employers have responsibilities to them and are required to have several conditions such as being paid the national minimum wage, holiday pay and be registered on the on the payroll for tax and national insurance
- full time works a full working week, usually between 35-40 hours over 5 days each week
- part time works fewer hours than the normal working week usually between 10-30 hours
what is a zero hour contract?
- No set or guaranteed hours of work
- Employers can call on people whenever necessary
- Gives the business flexibility to meet increase in demand without having to pay staff when they’re not needed
