SAN to AVN
A
impulse arrives at SAN, causes atrial systole. Non conductive tissue between the atria and ventricles to prevent them contracting at the same time. SAN impulse goes to AVN, which delays the impulse for 1/10th of a second before goes to the bundle of His, comprised of purkyne tissue, which causes the impulse to go from the apex to the base of the heart, causes ventricular systole.
