What is Leadership?
Leadership involves guiding individuals by providing purpose, direction, and motivation to achieve the mission and enhance the organization.
What is an Army leader?
An Army leader is anyone who inspires and influences people to accomplish organizational goals.
How can leaders mitigate resistance?
Leaders can counteract resistance by understanding others’ values, reactions, shared goals, commitment to the organization, and fostering trust in their leadership.
What is command?
Command is the authority that a leader lawfully exercises over subordinates by rank or assignment.
What is mission command?
Mission command is the command by a commander to provide authority and direction to effective leaders in the execution of operations.
What conveys the expectations that the Army wants leaders to meet?

What are the three categories of competencies?
The Army leader is responsible for leading others, developing the environment, themselves, others, and the organization as a whole, and achieving organizational goals.
