Bacterial - Common in CL : Pseudo , S Aureus , S pneumo
Virus - HSV , VZV
Fungus - Fusarium , Aspergillus , Candida
Protozoa - Acanthamoeba

A

Signs

Corneal epithelial defect with underlying stromal infiltrate

Hypopyon (often in bacterial/fungal)

Edema, Descemet’s folds

Ciliary injection

Satellite lesions (fungal)

Dendritic lesions (viral)

  • Moxifloxacin
    -Fungal Ulcer
  • Natamycin or voriconazole
    -Viral
  • antiviral Acyclovir , Ganciclovir
    -Adjunctive
  • Tears , Cycloplegic
