Confirmation of diagnosis -screening tests (ideally 2 should be positive)

Determine the cause
-ACTH level ,if low acth independent
If high do high dose dexamethasone suppression test, 90% of pitutary will supress but only 10% of ectopic will supress
Imagine- Pitutary sampling Inferior petrousal sinus sampling Adreanal imaging Other. Imaging to fine the source in ectopic ACTH
