What is a p-value?

A

The probability of obtaining the observed sample results when the null hypothesis is actually true, therefore the smaller the p-value the more certain you are of the result

A

A confidence interval given an estimated range of values which is likely to include an unknown population parameter. It tells us how precise the estimated difference is.
