1) unrealistic expectations (Arnold), heroin chic thin model standard, low fat and carb
2) heroin chic thin model standard, nothing on men, fatness is mocked, eat little, juice cleanses
3) hour glass figure, washboard abs, protein powder, no carb no sugar
4) holistic wellness, feeling good over visuals, fit for function, supplement and pre, intermediate fasting
What is the Ozempic era?
Drug used for individuals with diabetes to lose weight and manage insulin but is now used for 12+ in rapid weight loss by suppressing hunger
What are challenges that come with using Ozempic or drugs to lose weight?
Difficulty going off drug and hard to control surge of cravings
Is it safe long term?
Is it right to use a drug for weight loss just because you have money for it or should it be strictly for medical use in diabetic patients?
Are Ozempic and weight loss drugs banned from sports? Is there concerns with this?

What is the fight against fat stigma?
Works to push back on the assumption that fatness is causes diseases and poor health outcomes
Thinking of obesity as a medical risk like covid contributes to the stigma putting blame on larger bodies draining health care system
Can fatness be compared to global disease like covid?
The relation between weight and health is complex but health and wellbeing are linked to health markers like BP and sugar levels which can be normal in larger bodies
So since larger bodies operate at normal levels like thin bodies are they an issue?
