Q

Limitation of statistical infrequency
- result in misdiagnosis

A

many people will become chronicall depressed at some point in there life suggesting depression is common so not be sen as abnormal
So using satistical infrequency to define abnormality means we are unable to distinguish between desirable and undesirable making it accurately identifying psychological conditions ridicule using this definition

Q

Strength of statistical infrequency
- reliability
