- A description of ‘abnormality’ which occurs when a person when a displays actions or behaviours that deviate drastically from established norms.

- The ‘abnormal’ behaviour when an individual is not able to cope with everyday life.

What is ‘Statistical Infrequency’?
- It is a mathematical method which states that 5% of the population, which fall between more than two standard deviations from the mean are ‘abnormal’ because they are statistically ‘rare’ (Top 2.5% of pop and bottom 2.5 of pop are abnormal).
