What are Safety Procedures?
Rules and habits that help prevent injuries during physical activity, such as warming up, wearing proper attire, staying hydrated, and using equipment correctly.
What is Skill Improvement?
Practicing movements repeatedly and correctly to perform them better over time, often using drills or exercises that target specific abilities.
What is Basic Level of Competency?
Being able to perform an exercise or movement correctly and with good form, even if you’re not advanced—just solid and safe.
What is Internal Feedback?
Information you get from your own body during movement (e.g., soreness, tightness, fatigue), which helps you adjust how you move.
What is External Feedback?
Feedback you receive from others (like a coach or friend) or tools (like a mirror or video) that helps you improve your performance.
What is Interval Training?
Alternating between periods of high effort and rest or low effort.
Example: sprint 30 seconds, walk 1 minute, repeat.
What is Circuit Training?
A series of exercises performed one after another with little to no rest. Each station targets a different muscle or fitness skill.
What is HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)?
A form of interval training that uses very intense bursts of activity followed by short rest.
Example: 30 sec burpees, 15 sec rest.
What is Functional Fitness Training?
Exercises that mimic real-life movements like lifting, bending, or climbing—designed to make everyday tasks easier.
