Density=mass➗volume

how do you find the density of a solid object?
A
1) find the mass of the object (balance)
2) find the volume of the object (eureka can or formula)
3) use the formula density=mass➗volume

how do you find density of a liquid
A
1)pour 10ml of the liquid into a measuring cylinder on a balance and record the liquids mass
2)pour another 10ml into the measuring cylinder and record the total volume & mass
repeat this until the cylinder is full
3)for each measurement use the formula to find density ( 1ml=1cm^3)
4)take an average of all calculated densities
