Concavity

A

How it’s derivative is changing, it’s the second derivative of a function. Concave up looks like a cup int eh original, concave down looks like a frown in the original equation. For concave up, if we take the 2nd derivative it will always be positive. For concave down if we take the second derivative it will always be negative.

Inflection point is when it changes from concave down to concave up.
