Which type of malignancy is most likely to arise from chronically wounded/scarred/inflamed skin?
A
Squamous cell carcinoma. SCC tends to be more aggressive when it comes from chronically wounded skin. Early biopsy is important. In the setting of a burn, these lesions are called Marjolin ulcers.

A
pearly telangiectatic papules, often with central ulceration

A
Pigmented lesions with asymmetry. irregular border, variegated color, diameter >6mm, and evolution in size and shape.

A
scaly, pruritic patches or plaques. AKA mycosis fungoides.
