Preoperational stage, ages
2 to 7 lacks reversibility, centration, ability to conserve, is more intuitive , thinks concretely, phenomenalistic causality (magical thinking) and corresponds to freuds anal stage. Includes both the anal stage (1-3) and the phallic stage (3-6)
