Construction - Permafrost and 6 months darkness and extreme temps make is inconvenient, Accessibility - runways must be painted white so more sunlight is reflected which prevents ground from warming up and permafrost from melting which would make runway sink, Services/Utilities - must be transported via utilidors above ground to prevent melting permafrost
