What’s the goal in Direct and Manage Project Work?
The process of leading and performing the work defined in the project management plan and implementing changes to achieve the project’s objectives.
What is Corrective Action?
To re-align the performance of the project work with the Project Management Plan.
What is Preventative Action?
An intentional activity that ensures the future performance of the project work is aligned with the Project Management Plan.
What is Defect?
An imperfection or deficiency in a project component where that component needs to be either repaired or replaced.
What is Defect Repair?
To modify a nonconforming product or project component.
What is a Project Management Information System (PMIS)?
An information system consisting of tools and techniques used to gather, integrate, and disseminate the outputs of project management systems.
What is Work Performance Data?
The raw data that comprises work performance data includes things like percent complete, monies spent, and time spent.
What is Work Performance Information?
Takes this raw data and analyzes it in context, i.e. what did we spend relative to what we planned to spend?
What is Work Performance Report?
The physical or electronic representation of work performance information, compiled in project documents.
