Briefly explain the RN warnings procedure.

A

Initially, given an MPAR or oral warning. If insufficient improvement:
* Formal Warning Level 1 - DOs warning: No SJAR/Details the problem, proposed solution and time scale for review (normally 3
months).
* Formal Warning level 2 - HoDs warning: SJAR raised - 1RO completed by DO/receive OPG of D (this commences Suspended Incremental Progression/Review after (normally) 3 months.
* Formal Warning level 3 - COs warning:
Appraisal report (SJAR) raised with CO as 2 RO/Review date set/If some progress is made but not quite enough, the level 3 warning may extend
