Found out that there was lagged adaptation(when women started work in large numbers , men there is a time delay before men begin to contribute more to housework, an he says that men are doing more but it is taking some time.

Carried out research on 40 middle class couples and they found women felt they were carrying a demanding triple shift where they had to combine paid work with domestic work and emotion work and this was unfair/negative on them
