Red light: Flashes when one or both engines stopped, the slides are disarmed and the cabin diff is above 2,5 hpa
How do you open the over-wing emergency exits and escape slides?
- Remove handle cover, THE HANDLE LIGHT and SLIDE ARMED indicator illuminates
*Pull the CONTROL HANDLE, the exit opens inwards - Lift EXIT from frame by holding the HANDLE RECESS
- Throw exit out
Slides will be inflated automatically when an emergency over-wing exit is opened
How many emergency slides does the A320 have?

- Closed and locked

How can the cockpit crew escape the cockpit if the door is jammed?
- Use the escape ropes
- The escape panel on the door. This panel can only be removed from the cockpit side by pulling the quick release pins towards the centre of the flap and kicking the panel open outwards into the cabin
Loss of electrical power to the cockpit door causes what to happen?
The door will be automatically unlocked, but will remain closed
Can you open the cockpit sliding windows from the outside?
