Bump Bar
Numerical electronic pad that “Bumps” order off the DT Expeditor Monitor
Car Stack / Stack
Number of cars located between the menu board and the window. Starbucks standard stack is four to six cars, with five cars being ideal. The stack indicates how much time a store has to produce a customer’s order. The production time begins when the customer orders at the menu board, and ends when they pick up that same order at the window.

Closed circuit television, shows ordering customer and DT stack

Greet Time
The amount of time a customer waits at the order post until a partner greets the customer
Non-peak
Period of time that is not captured as peak.
OCS
Order Confirmation System, routes orders to production stations
OTW, Out the Window
Transactions served through the Drive Thru window in relation to total store transactions
Order Queue
The total number of cars that can fit pas the order point.
Order Point
The area in the DT lane where the customer places their order. It usually contains a menu board, a speaker-post where the store partners can talk to the customer, and often times other items like a height restriction bar or an order confirmation system.
Order Time
Time it takes the car to arrive at the order point, place the order, and pull forward. Amount of time a customer is at the order post once they are greeted until they pull away.
