Left Turn Yield on Green
During an awesome lightning storm, all the signal lights blew out. And at every intersection you come to, the lights in every direction are flashing red.
How do you respond to the lights with other vehicles coming from all directions?
The flashing red lights act as a four way stop sign, so each vehicle should stop at the light, with the first person to stop proceeding first.
Speeding along on the highway, you come up on a very slow semi-truck belching smoke and diesel fuel.
On which side should you pass the truck?
It is always best to pass semi-trucks, as well as other moving vehicles, on the left side whenever possible. Semi-trucks have a very limited view through side view mirrors because of their large size, and their largest blindspot is located on the right side.
What does a white painted curb indicate?
A white painted curb indicates a loading zone for passengers or mail only.
The “basic speed law” in the United States is that of what?
You should never drive faster than is safe for current conditions.
On roads with two or more lanes going in the same direction…
… what is the general rule of thumb that differentiates faster cars from slower ones?

Slower cars most always stay in the right lane, and the faster cars pass slower traffic in the left lane.
