A
- They don’t eat enough food to maintain a healthy
body weight. - They see themselves as fat, but in reality they are really skinny.
- This eventually leads to death by starvation.

- extreme weight loss
- can have dry skin
- slowed heart rate
- slowed breathing

Bulimia
A
- Uncontrollable eating binges followed by purging
or removing the food from their bodies; seen
often in young women - Can begin in connection with a diet
(instigator/trigger).

- Going to the bathroom after eating
- Throwing up everyday or more than normal

- Uncontrollable urge to eat large amounts of food,
no purges
