The number of people, other living organisms, or crops that a region can support without environmental degradation
Prey
An animal that is hunted and killed by another for food
Predator
An animal that naturally preys on others
Mutualism
symbiosis that is beneficial to both organisms involved
Commensalism
an association between two organisms in which one benefits and the other derives neither benefit nor harm
Parasitism
the practice of living as a parasite in or on another organism
Producers
Biotic organisms that get their food through photosynthesis
Decomposers
Organisms that break down dead organisms
Desert
A habitat that is hot and humid and doesn’t get much rain
Tundra
A habitat that is cold
Temperate Deciduous Forest
Forests that have trees that lose there leaves every year
Tropical rainforest
A rainforest that gets lots of rain and is very warm all year.
