prices for products were lower, farmers fell into debt due to hyperinflation

- US gave large loans to jump start German economy
- restructured reparations from ToV
What was the Young Plan and when?
1929
- refined the Dawes Plan
- lowered and gave Germany longer to pay off reparations
- gave Germany more control over finances but still dependant on loans

- people worried about food and losing their jobs
- political extremism gained traction (NAZIs)
