A
An ecosystem can be described as the interactions of the living (biotic) and non-living (abiotic) parts of a given area.
Ecosystems are an interaction between the living and non-living parts.

The abiotic are chemical and physical factors in the environment e.g. temperature, light intensity and water.

The biotic are all the plants and animals in the habitat including any microscopic organisms like bacteria or fungi.
